NHPC-V4 – Controller for Heat Pump with electronic expansion valve control

NHPC-V4 is a controller with a new, more elegant 2,4" color display, designed to be installed in Split air to water Heat Pumps water heaters. The controller consists of 2 modules, as follow: NHPC-PM-V3.2 to built- in the Heat pump outdoor unit and NHC-H53 for installation in the water heater. The two controller modules manage a compressor, a four- way valve, a fan, an electronically controlled expansion valve, an electrical heater and depending on its hardware version an installation for additional heat source- a solar collector. 4 multifunction buttons with clearly and intuitive menus in Bulgarian and English is used for operation. The information from 6-th and 7 -th thermo sensors, depending on version is used for the optimal control of the heat pump system. A NRM-W3 WiFi module can be switched to the controller to connect to Naturela Smart Home remote monitoring and control system. The controller produces in two variants: NHPC-V4-1 for heat pump system and electrical heater and NHPC-V4-2 for heat pump system, electrical heater and solar collector.

Graphical information is displayed by hour of the day about the power consumption, the average hot water temperature and solar collector pump circulation pump operation

Timer with option to choose the hour, day of the week and the temperature for the water

A full system diagnostic and display information with time and date of each recorded event

Output options of the controller:

1. A compressor – output 230 VAC and P max 1500 W;

2. A fan- output 230 VAC and Pmax 150W;

3. A 4 way electronically controlled expansion valve- output 12 VDC;

4. A 4 way valve- output 230 VAC;

5. An electrical heater – output 230 VAC and Pmax -up to 3000W;

6. A solar collector circulation pump – output 230VAC and Pmax 150W.

Sensors used:

6 temperature sensors measuring the temperature in the lower and the upper end of the water tank, the compressor temperature before and after the evaporator, the temperature after the compressor and the outdoor temperature of outdoor unit;

Pressure switch input for high pressure;

A temperature sensor for measuring the solar collector temperature- variant NHPC-V4-2.
